Not my view right now, but just by looking at this picture I get transported to this beautiful place and I feel peace.

Yesterday I had a headache all day, I thought I was getting the flu or something. Reality was that I was just exhausted from the week. After 9 hours of sleep, yes 9 hours 😅I woke up this morning refreshed and not feeling sick. I Just needed to rest.

I had not taken a break from working out the whole week since Sunday. Exercise it is habit for me so working out is like brushing my teeth.

Resting is just as important as working out because it's an equal part of the total process required to build strength, endurance, and muscle. Working out, especially resistance training, breaks your body tissues down.

And I should know this right??! It happens to all of us, specially because exercising makes me feel so great and I feel ready for anything when I’m done. But it is a balance like everything in life, we have to learn to not make something that is so positive and good and turning into something negative for ourselves.

Taking breaks and let our body and mind heal is as important as well.

So here is to a much needed rest day ✌🏼🌈
